24Ft Sloop, Desing #237

Here is a design for a small sailboat with excellent performance and the capability to cruise safely in coastal waters. The British client intends to make crossings to France and to Ireland, and needed a boat capable of beating to windward in adverse conditions. She contains all the essentials: two berths, head, galley and inboard engine in just 21 feet. Construction is strip planking with an overlay of cold molded veneer for a tight, strong hull that is quick and simple to build. A good first time project. Additional sheets detailing carvel on bent frame construction are included in the plan set
