For lovers of the schooner rig looking for a small cruising boat, this plan is hard to beat.  This is a keel version of the traditional Tancook Whaler from south shore Nova Scotia (see plan #227 for a centreboard model).  Clean lines, outside ballast and a generous rig will ensure good performance.  A cozy two berth cabin with enclosed head and auxiliary diesel make this an easy boat to spend time aboard.
